I have wished to protect forests since I was a nature-loving and wild small kid who spent a lot of time playing in natural forest near the house.

I have lived a forest life for ten years at a lakeside surrounded by virgin forests in New Zealand. Days of backpacking treks through mountain paths carrying clothes, food and shelter have become part of my life.

“Human beings are forest dwellers.” This is what I came to believe after leading a life playing in woods, relying on forests, and paying respect to mountains.

Oceans, rivers, and lakes are also very important for human beings. Healthy body of water cannot exist, however, without healthy forests. There won’t be enough oxygen to star with.
