An Austrian travels through Japan and rediscover for all of us the real meanings of ethical and aesthetic concepts for food (=life) that Japanese are proud of; “Motainai (being aware of/ trying to avoid wastefulness), Taruwo Shiru (knowing contentment), and “Itadakimas (receiving the food with gratitude)”. Food with expired taste guarantee or of over production are not wastes but LIFE! I hope all Japanese remember it by watching this movie.
