‘Honrai Muichimotsu’

(All things are essentially nothingness) I have put this saying from Zen Buddhism in an inconspicuous part of the book.

The saying means ‘At birth, we are naked without any possessions.
At death, we go back to the earth taking nothing with us.’
Let’s stop living a life which revolves around goods and money that do not go back to the earth or that we can’t bring to Heaven.
Let’s give up and abandon all the noises of life such as unnecessary pride, titles and fame, and other people’s opinions of you. Let’s concentrate on our inner voices.
I put the photo of a baby on the book cover so that you can remember the time you lived simple without greed.
‘Greed’ makes us live with wrong priorities.
‘Wanting more and more’ drags you in Hell with no exit.
Life is meaningless if you accumulate things that are not really necessary.
Let’s be brave and give up unnecessary things so that we can regain ourselves.
What will we have left after giving up everything? That’s you ‘yourself’.
